CD and DVD Drive Replacement in Beckenham

Still rely on discs for films, music, backups or older software? Home Computer Repairs replaces CD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD drives in laptops and desktop PCs of all makes.

Drive faults we fix

• Discs are not recognised or will not play
• The tray will not open or close
• Burning a disc fails part-way through
• The drive is noisy or scratches discs
• The drive has disappeared from Windows

How the replacement works

We check first whether the fault is the drive or a driver or Windows setting, and fix the software where that is all it is. If the drive has failed we fit a compatible replacement and test it by reading and writing a disc.
